A demanding year lies behind everyone – club or company alike – and everyone is glad to talk about something entirely different for once, rather than work or club business. Mind magic fits that mood remarkably well.
Colleagues from different departments who otherwise know each other only by email stand side by side at the reception and do not know what to talk about – until the first glass is empty. I move from table to table, ten to fifteen minutes a round, right there at the reception.
For the rest of the evening I mainly offer a stage show for the whole company or club: 25 to 30 minutes in which everyone shares the same moment – something to talk about that still holds in January. Anyone who would rather have short table pieces between the courses can have that instead – with no technical requirements at all, but in shorter, five-minute moments per table. For the rest of the evening the two rule each other out: you choose one of the two forms. And for both: no doves, no top hats, no kitsch.
The reception with table-to-table entertainment and the evening programme are two separate building blocks – each bookable on its own. You can choose just the reception, just the rest of the evening – or both together, in my experience the loveliest combination for a Christmas party. A Christmas party lives off the team or the club, not off me. That is why my show usually runs earlier in the evening, while everyone is still receptive – anyone who is meant to join in needs a clear head. And if later on everyone only wants to dance and chat, that is exactly as it should be.
What matters at a Christmas party
The centrepiece: a stand-alone stage show
25 to 30 minutes for the whole company at once – for that I need a clearly visible space of at least three by three metres (more is welcome), a headset microphone for me and a handheld microphone for the guests I work with, plus the means to play in additional audio sources and an undisturbed room to withdraw to before the performance and during breaks.
Whoever joins in is the hero of the evening
Everyone should enjoy the show – laughter and second thoughts are expressly welcome. Whoever joins in is the only one who gets to experience for themselves what seemed impossible; everyone else merely watches and has to believe what they saw. A one-off opportunity – entirely without wagers or jokes at the expense of colleagues or the management.
Made for the reception
I move from table to table and entertain your guests for ten to fifteen minutes each with mind-magic experiments. It does not get any closer than this.
Breaks the ice between colleagues
People who otherwise know each other only by email have something to talk about after being astonished together.
Fits any setting

How an evening like this comes about
- Beforehand
We work out where in the running order there is time for it – usually early in the evening, while everyone is still receptive – and whether you would like a stage show or short table pieces for the rest of the evening.
- Reception
Entertainment at the (standing) tables, from group to group.
- After the main course
The stage block: 25 to 30 minutes, still early enough in the evening – the centrepiece of the rest of the evening. Alternatively short table pieces between the courses are possible, with no technical requirements at all.

I am regularly on the road in Stuttgart, Ludwigsburg, Esslingen, Waiblingen, Backnang and everywhere around. If your venue is not on the list, ask anyway – further afield is possible by arrangement.
Questions about christmas party bookings
Will someone from the team be made a fool of?
No. Nobody has to come forward who would rather not, and there is no punchline at a guest’s expense – anyone who joins in comes out looking better than before, not worse.
From what group size upwards is it worth it?
There is no minimum size for the table entertainment. For the stage show I recommend around 20 to 30 people upwards, so that it is not always the same ones joining in – for smaller groups we adapt the show accordingly.
Is this one of the shows from your website?

What do I need for the stage show – equipment, space?

How does booking work – what is included in the price?
After our first conversation you receive a written confirmation by email with the date, the place, the show and the fee – which doubles as the booking confirmation. It covers the fee as well as travel costs and, where needed, accommodation – for me and, if an assistant is required, for them too. Once the date is three months away, a deposit of 50% falls due; the rest is payable after the performance. The exact terms are set out in my AGB (in German).
